time-based :: averaged cinema
average cinema involves taking a movie and averageing each frame into a single color. the film runs to the same length, but all of the imagery is reduced to a single variable. the title of these pieces comes from averaging the numeric values of the letters of the title and substituting the corresponding letter for the resulting whole number, leaving the decimal as numbers. the videos are, unfortunately, too large to make available for download at this time.
